YOUR BEST SELF WITH DR. LIZ BLISS ESALEN

Elevated Bliss Factor

Elevated Bliss Factor is a provocative practice where we have to start, rather than end, with our bliss.

Dr. Liz Bliss Esalen’s work invites everyone to not only believing in themselves, but to start living vibrant, thriving lives again.

Following our bliss is how we begin to know what matters to us, what heals us, and what we can do to make everyday extraordinary. Not just weekends, vacation days, or fleeting peak experiences.

Every moment is ours to celebrate.

In moving into the Elevated Bliss Factor, you aren’t being selfish. You are in a process of becoming responsible to yourself and to others by taking deep care of your own needs. You are giving others the gift of your full, restored, vibrant self. When we fully show up for ourselves, we can share this gift with our communities. The world benefits when we commit to restoring and living in love, hope, joy and bliss.

Believing in oneself isn’t a simple thing.
You can’t just say to yourself: Believe!and expect a magic fairy to show up to guide you.

Or maybe you can.

Allowing Bliss

Follow your Bliss.
Big changes are made with many little steps. We must follow the moments of spark back to ourselves if we have lost our way. Life is short. You want to fully live it and enjoy it. Most people have been taught to follow a certain path to success. They weren’t taught to listen to their intuition, inner wisdom, body or joy. The teachers that help us find true North again, are expansion, peace and happiness. Many were taught to sacrifice, follow orders and rely only on the linear mind for "knowing." Many others were taught to numb out with food-sex-work-exercise-technology and act ruthless, uncaring and emotionally flat to achieve success. Allowing bliss is about unlearning all the ways we’ve been taught to silence our inner wisdom and access to thriving wellness. If you want to follow your bliss, you have to get still and quiet. You have to notice the subtle inner changes that react to your environment. This is about getting fluid and vulnerable again. You allow bliss to find its way back to you by practicing self-inquiry, slowing down, noticing, experimenting, questioning, saying no, finding your yes, receiving, expanding, feeling and following your muse.
Go Beyond Fear.
Becoming Bliss is not about becoming a sensation seeking spiritual bypasser. This isn’t about leaving behind ethics, responsibilities, work-life balance or integrity. This is about the slow and hard process of returning to innocence, of learning to take in experiences, and allowing your true essence to be emerge again. This is about learning to tolerate joy, hope, love, freedom, and happiness. Many have been taught to abandon these processes as they leave childhood to become an adult. Or trauma took it away from them. Or life got hard and broke their spirit. Or people crushed their heart. This is about finding the innate abilities we were born with to experience and allow joy to be part of our lives again. This is about softening, receiving, practicing gratitude and paying it forward. It's about being the bliss you want to see in the world. It’s easy to harden our hearts and minds with fear-based, limited thinking. Following your bliss is often not an easy practice because it challenges the concepts of staying small, holding breath and tension in our bodies, contracting and avoiding. We must choose to expand and be seen again. When we allow bliss, we choose goodness again.
